Description: To build community while building a diverse set of skills, from teamwork to mental math to literacy and creative storytelling, through learning and playing Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop role-playing games.

6th Grade Gunston News Show

Description: Create a 6th grade “Good Morning Gunston” style show for and by 6th graders

Gunston Black Student Union

Description: Student’s and staff come together to engage in discussions, raise awareness about important issues and promote a sense of community and empowerment. Its mission is to create a safe and inclusive space to discuss relevant topics, celebrate the African American cultural heritage, and address issues related to racial equity and social justice.

Mission: Connect and expose Latinas opportunities that enrich their future. Vision: Create a community of educated, committed, and empowered Latinas.

Step Team

Sponsor: Ms. Parquet

Description: The mission of the Gunston Step Team is to foster unity, discipline, and self-expression through the art of step. We strive to build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills while celebrating the creativity and culture of stepping. Our purpose is to empower each member to find their voice, contribute to a positive community, and represent our school with pride and excellence in every performance.
