Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences
October 8 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm
Dear Gunston Middle School Families,
We are pleased to invite you to our first Parent-Teacher Conference of the school year this fall. This is a great opportunity to connect with your student’s teachers, learn about their progress, and work together to support their success.
During the conference, families will have the opportunity to:
- Learn how their student is doing in their classes.
- Ask questions and share any concerns.
- Discuss ways to support learning at home.
- Set goals for the school year.
Families can also monitor their student’s progress through ParentVUE. If you need assistance accessing ParentVUE, you can contact Maria Romero by email at [email protected] or by phone at 703-228-6930.
In addition, families receive weekly grade updates every Tuesday by email, which allows you to stay informed about your student’s progress.We encourage all families to participate. Conferences will be brief, approximately 5 minutes, to allow us to meet with as many families as possible.

- Thursday, October 8 – 12:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Open session)
- Friday, October 9 – 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:05 – 3:00 p.m
- 11:30 AM – 12:05 PM: Teacher Lunch Break. Staff are not available to meet with families during this time.
