Gunston Legacy

World-renowned mural artist Mas Paz partnered with Gunston students to create a vibrant mural celebrating the many unique and diverse aspects of the Gunston community. The project began as a brainstorming session with the Art Club and grew into a collaborative effort involving more than 80 students who helped complete the 100-foot mural.

As part of the design process, students selected the words peace, pride, and legacy, which are displayed throughout the mural in multiple languages to reflect the diversity of the Gunston community.

Students also participated in a schoolwide survey to name the mural, ultimately choosing “The Legacy Wall.” Students were excited to leave a lasting legacy for the many future generations who will walk the halls of Gunston for years to come.

Stay tuned for a mini documentary from AETV and GunstonTV showcasing how this incredible project came to life!
