Problem Solution
If you have changed your APS Google password recently and can’t connect the iPad to our APS wifi…. On the iPad, go to Settings -> touch the “i” icon and select “Forget this Network”.
Then touch Wi-Fi link on the top left corner -> touch APS network -> type in your username and password for APS Google.
You want to change your student Apple ID password. Go to: https://appleid.apple.com/. Click on “Manage your Apple ID” button. Sign into your Apple ID account using your current password. Click on “Password and Security” and answer the security questions. Then you can change your password. ***If you are having problems with doing this, please see Dr. Crochet. Dr. Crochet can change your Apple ID password also.
You need to set the passcode for the iPad. On the iPad, go to Settings -> Passcode -> Turn Passcode on. Then create your passcode.
You need to set the lock screen. Please create a lock screen that is either an image of you or is an image of your name. First take a picture with the Camera app. Then go to Settings -> Wallpaper -> Camera Roll -> Select picture -> Set Lock Screen
The iPad won’t turn on. You may need to “force reboot” the iPad.
– Press and hold both the sleep/wake button and the home button.
– Continue to hold both buttons until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
– Release both buttons when you see the Apple logo on the screen.
