Hispanic Heritage Celebration

Join us for an unforgettable evening as we come together to celebrate Hispanic Heritage at Gunston Middle School on Thursday, October 17th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM!

What’s in store?

• Delicious Food: Taste the flavors of Latin America with dishes from different countries, lovingly prepared by our school community.
• Music & DJ: One of our very own talented teachers will be spinning the tunes for the night, bringing the rhythms of Latin music to life!
• Student Work Displays: Be inspired by student projects showcasing the beauty and culture of various Latin American countries.
• Face painting: Colorful face painting for kids and adults alike!
• Photobooth Fun: Capture the moment with friends and family in our festive photobooth.
• Parade of Flags: See students wearing traditional costumes from different countries as they proudly carry their flags in our special parade.
• Dances: Enjoy live performances of traditional dances from Peru and Ecuador, along with dances by our very own Gunston students.
• Art on Canvas: Participate in creating a collaborative piece of artwork. Sign your name and leave your mark!
• Games: Have fun playing games focused on famous “sayings” in Spanish—learn something new and test your knowledge!
• Raffles: Enter for your chance to win exciting prizes throughout the event.
