Spring Parent/Teacher Conferences

Dear Gunston Middle School Families,

As part of our spring Parent-Teacher Conferences, we are prioritizing meetings for students who are not yet meeting grade-level expectations. These conferences are a critical opportunity to partner with teachers, review your student’s progress, and set concrete goals to support success for the remainder of the school year.Second quarter report cards and mid-year assessment results are available in ParentVUE, along with instructions for access. In addition, families receive weekly grade updates every Tuesday via email, so you can monitor progress on an ongoing basis. If you need assistance accessing ParentVUE, please contact the school.

We invite you to attend a conference to meet with your student’s teachers and discuss strategies to accelerate learning. Conferences will be brief (approximately 5 minutes) to allow time for as many families as possible. Interpreters will be available in Arabic, Amharic, Mongolian, and Spanish.

Your partnership is essential to ensure students receive the support they need to meet grade-level expectations.

• Friday, March 13 – 7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. and 12:05 – 3:00 p.m

****Staff are not available to meet with families from 11:30 a.m. to 12:05 p.m.
